A320/321 P2F

Hello

When will we see these types in AS?

The market for cargo aircraft is quite slim on worlds with new types of only.

Also the Airbus Beluga maybe?

We generally only include aircraft that can be ordered as new from an OEM.

The company is completely owned by Airbus.

Also its a option just like 747BCF or MD11 or 737C

Hello my friend  :)

Just email support when those models can be ordered irl

They will add it on the "todo" list

It doesn't matter if the company is owned by Airbus - they're still only converting old used A320 and A321 to freighters.

And those currently aren't included in the game, as Matth already answered correctly.

We might at some point include the data of these models in the game - but even then, you wouldn't be able to order it directly from Airbus, but buy a used aircraft and then have it converted into a freighter,

I for one would like to see this, as there are a number of P2F options out there. I do however, understand that coding this probably won’t be easy. Still hopeful though.

It would be nice to see some more scope to the cargo options, there are a number of aircraft still used on a daily basis across the world.

But certainly options to buy older aircraft and convert them seems feasible?

Just a few that AS doesn't have. Not sure how much profit could be made from these but it would be great to operate them :-)

Beech 99

Learjet 35 (especially interesting with a range of around 5000kms)

Reims-Cessna F406

Unlikely we will ever see these, but it'd be great.......oneday ;-)

I believe that the only way to have this done is to overhaul seating.

If the value of seating would be attributed to (the value of) the plane rather than to the plane's owner, than cargo conversions could be built into the seating system. This would remove the need for a separate system to be created, but still require complex seating arrangements to be created, as you would have a specific "seat", called cargo conversion, that only fits in a specific aircraft type. More restrictions would be recommended, such as the need for the aircraft to be owned rather than leased. The cost of the seat being linked to the value of the plane (and thus lost when sold/removed) should also make it uninteresting to convert them back to pax.

This would simultaneously introduce secondhand aircraft with seats installed, as the seats will now belong to the aircraft rather than the airline.

Guess that this is too much asked? But how many Fokker 50's are enjoying a second life flying cargo routes, just to name 1 type...

In my opinion the cost of conversion should be made sky high. Like equal to the value of aircraft in addition of being an owned aircraft. This will prevent cargo airlines from bulk converting planes to freighter. Also there is no need for an option to convert the plane back to pax.

Obviously the conversion needs to be expensive, as it is IRL, there could also be a minimum age for "feedstock" aircraft, which then again wouldn't help in new aircraft only gameworlds.
