I work in government consulting but I have very strong ties to aviation. I have TCCA and FAA CPLs but couldn’t pursue a flying career due to developing medical issues and I used to work for one of the largest airlines in the world. (Think of a US carrier with a strong presence in Asia) I envy all of you guys with flying jobs!

Occupation: undergraduate degree in Economics. Currently not employed, by option, since I’m studying for a difficult national exam to be approved in a good Master’s degree course, also in Economics (Stricto sensu postgraduate degree).
Curiosities: I rarely travel by plane, not for option, but for lack of time for vacationing. Also, I’m utterly looking forward for the upcoming events that will be held in Rio (2014 Fifa World Cup and 2016 Olympics) and I want Rio to be a very important and organized city again, starting by improving conditions on its “abandoned” international airport. It’s administered by a state-ruled enterprise and it will be conceded to private admnistration late this year. Expectations are that Rio Intl’ Airport (Galeão - GIG) will get much better with private administration and starts to receive more and more flights and passengers. I’m a great aviation enthusiast, but never thought about being a pilot, only dreamed about being an airline CEO.
