Cancelling flights after creating a new schedule

Hi everyone,

I recently changed my schedules for an a/c and activated the new flight plan. However, I noticed my a/c is still planning to serve the old routes in the upcoming days. Do I need to cancel them? Thanks.

changing the schedule only affects new flights. If flights are already scheduled, these will still be flown.

You can cancel them manually, but it’s probably better to fly them, because if you fly you receive revenue, whereas if you cancel you pay compensation.

My technique is to always activate a new schedule with 3 days delay. That way, the a/c can “fly out” the previous schedule and is then ready for the new schedule.

Much appreciated- thanks!
Wow, they even including paying compensation!
