Connecting Passengers

Okay, so I am set up in Tehran (IKA) and the transfer time is 1:15hr. However, my planes from Mashad land at lets say 10:23 and are ready to depart at 10:59, with my next wave leaving at 12:00. Does this give my passengers enough time to connect?

Thanks,

Billy

Hi Billy,

Connection time is independent and totally separate from aircraft turnaround time (ready time).

If you have an aeroplane going from A-IKA-B and is routing on the same aeroplane they need zero connection time. However if they going to another aircraft the require the minimum turnaround time as per airport. So 01:15. In your case if your wave leaves at 12:00, the latest time for arrivals and connecting passengers is 10:44

Hope that helps

Ian

Thanks a lot mate!

Too many Ts :)

Even an arrival at 10:45 will be good enough for the connection.

@matths: do u know anything about the rounding of hidden seconds we don’t?

No, I don’t.

But when I check my scheduling page and have a flight arriving at 5:45 (with a connection time of 1:15) and I see a green flight leaving at 7:00 then I assume there’s no rounding to the seconds, but the minutes.

I’d be curious though to learn if I’m wrong.

The pinned thread on community support board said AS internal calculation accuracy is down to seconds but it would be display as minites after rounding so leave one more minutes for rounding

Ohh, I wasn't aware of that. So I learned sth new today, thanks
