So I have this flight that leaves MAD at 2:37 and arrives at BCN at 3:36. The thing is, demand calculation at MAD happens at 3:35. If my calculations are correct, and under the assumption that only flights that arrive within 72 hours get bookings:
Let's call D0 the day of the flight.
At D-3, 3:35, the flight receives no bookings as it is still 72h1m until arrival.
At D-2, 3:35, the first booking cycle happens.
At D-1, 3:35, the second booking cycle happens.
At D0, 3:35, the third booking cycle would happen, but by then the plane has already left!
Which means the flight will only get 2 booking cycles instead of 3 (obviously, I'm not counting connecting flights or ground transport here), and that I should move the flight 2 minutes earlier to get more bookings. Is this right, or am I missing something?
Thanks in advance.
