You should make some kind of table where we could see available slots for every minute and every day. It would spare a lot of time for players while they are planning new flight. I find that this table with % useful.
You just need a few mouse-clicks.
Go to the airport
click on slots
you get the day overview
click on the hour/day (there is already a percentage given)
after that click you will see the hour overview
click on the minute/day (there is already a percentage given)
and you will se the slot distrubition for excatly the five minutes you have selected.
just in case somebody doesn’t know: within this five minute block there is no differentitation, so if there is one slot available between 15:00 and 15:04, it makea no difference if you depart at 15:01 or 15:03
malimrav is right. You are trying to set up a return flight A-B-B-A. With a turnaround time of 1 hour at airport B that means you are juggling four different slots displayed currently on four different different web pages. There’s no reason why the full 24 hour slot plan with a 5-minute slot resolution couldn’t be displayed on one browser page, and just let the user scroll through to the point he wants. In fact you could go one further and display the full slot plan for two airports on the same page next to each other offset by user-specified time interval, for example the flight time. That way he can see where the holes in the cheese line up instead of going nuts doing mental arithmetic adding times together.
The current slot display seems to be designed to make this task as tedious and difficult as possible.
