Well - that's not a AirlineSim made problem. Whenever you lease from a private airline an aircraft, you may face that problem. A real life CEO is checking with it's contract partner first if this may be a problem or not. But nevertheless this may also happen without a reason too. Anyhow - you can lease new or other used aircraft as soon as current ones will be returned. You receive the security deposit (minus leasing fee) back.
@ patrick93: Tks for the confirmation that this was your plan.
? Not my holding, isn´t it?
I just remembered to a quote in the forum - sk might know it: "It's interesting to see that the people who don't care for fairness call for it the loudest."
And by the way...this happened to me as well...I got several leasings cancelled from some of your partners during the last 3 weeks...and I never complained...
I think this problem is not worth a discussion like this...
Keep on working in AS, joasilva, you are a pretty strong player!
Next time, lease your Aircraft from AS-companys only. So you avoid this kind of problems. See it as an external effect (quite common in real airline Business). To be able to deal with it makes you even stronger in the future.
One of the players on Fornebu was kind enough to message me that he needed the plane for one of his holdings, and that he would make the same plane available for me from his other holding, and even at a discount to compensate for the trouble.
Communication is the key.
Edit: @Mopskof: If I needed 17 leased-out planes for my own airline, I would at least message the affected player and explained. But as I say, there is a way, and then there is a WAY, of dealing with situations like this. I can completely understand Joao why he went to the forums with this.

Yes, me too. I wrote a message. I can´t understand the way to the Forum without an IGM first.
Talking about fair play here, is quite fun. Making this thread a public humiliation for the guy leasing out these planes, is not fair either.
Whenever you lease from someone else, you can expect the planes to disappear at any given time. Both due to bankruptcy, player quits game, whatsoever. If you dont want to run that risk, lease a bit more expensive plane from AS.
Stop talking trash/accusing other people, in public. Or at least let them know the second you post the rant, so they have a chance to defend them self!
(if i had made a thread for every contract cancelled, not in my favour, I would need my own forum!)
@Banff You seem to enjoy putting down people and your ramble is getting a bit old. You practically said the same thing to me when I was a newbie and had the same thing happen to me with a plane lease and I also used forums to complain. I guess you get off on writing that kind of replies. So sad …
rubiohiguey2000, I kindly ask people to behave and dont accuse people of cheating/not being fair in public. I don't like when people are not behaving. That's about it.
Look around,I also help people starting airlines, encourage people to continue playing, and run alliances.
What I dont like is badmouthing, and silly behaviour.
If you want to start a discussion, you can contact me via PM. I’m too old, to start a public war. Have a nice weekend
Edit: Btw, it has nothing to do with being newbie. I dont look at the date joined, when members post. I’m quite sure I’d tell you the exact same thing today, if you posted something like this.

Hi,
if a player deletes or goes bankrupt, AS takes over the planes and the lease contracts.
You are right that leasing from AS avoids problems like this, but I understand the grumpy reaction if the in-game message arrived together with the ending of the contracts... replacing 17 planes is not easy if you have less than 7 days.
