I don’t think so …
I have seen somekind of topic like this before and the awnser there was NO. I will not comment about price as I do not know the economical situation of other people.
This game is impossible to play whitout a premium account as you do not have access to ORS which I see as the most important tool (that is how you see if any is going to bord your plane).
This game is a very hard game and so far NON of my friends have managed it (in real life but cyber friends have) , also I am sure it is a very costly game whit so high server capacity. I have the experience whit that after co-owning a large Minecraft community and server and it did cost quite much, after many years I got out of Minecraft leaving some people sad but it helped me make close friendships whit many people from all corners of the world also very many skilled and professional people. That is what I like whit AS and other online games, you get many friends.
Use to play only free online game and I don't believe in spending money for game, until I found this game.
Guess this game is not that expensive, but different country different people has different standard on what is expensive.
So let's try using Big Mac Index as indicator for purchasing power of an economy.

Will use my country for my calculation, you can try with yours to figure how expensive is playing AS.
Today, Big Mac cost IDR 31,000 eq USD 2.37 and 50 AS credit cost EUR 1.80 eq USD 2.02.
To maintain one AS holding, it cost 4 AS credit, so 50 credit is good for like 12 days.
So 12 days of playing AS cost less than one big mac, I would say it's not that expensive.. ;)

I believe the average income in India is lower than this. Nevertheless one of course has to understand that AS is beeing developed and hostet in Europe under European working conditions. It's a tough challenge to solve...
This would have a negative affect on profits.
As many people would just be using the free trial game.
And not as many people would invest in getting credits and it's quite unfair if someone is paying and the others who think they should pay don't pay.
So if I understand OP correctly...
* please let me play the game for free
* please develop extra features
* and then you will make extra profits
How does that work?
They are clearly not salesmen!

If they do not have access to the ORS they can not play on a more advanced level so no big worries.
If they provide the game for free, the only way to earn money is by putting a hell lots of ads in the website.
I would rather pay to play than having thousands of rubbish ads popping out on the game.
Also with so many players flocking servers like Riem despite the cost to play, I don't see why AS should make it free.
I like AS how it is.
Me too
To the op, there are free ad supported airline simulations out there just Google them. Not as thoroughly detsiled and exciting as AS but they are free.
you pretty much get what you are paying for. AS is a good game, and you can't say it's overcharged at all. Just keep it like this is definitely fine.
OMG some people
There are free airline sims indeed but they are either too easy or too restricted in terms of options
There was one game my airline was worth $145bln in just. 2 months
Now I’m trying not to sink in Reim XD
I have to say I like this game a lot and I don’t mind paying
Too bad I can eat one Big Mac less
XD
Too bad I can eat one Big Mac less :( XD
For me there is no option as I do not like fast food hamburgers, so far I have not been able to fully finish that many hamburgers.
I do not like fast food (macdonalds, KFC, Burgerking) but these are irresistible.

Danish red pölse mmm :).
Big Mac ftw
It's only 4 bucks for about a month-even a university student can afford that!
