I cant make heads or tails of AGEX on the best of days, but has it struck again recently?
My once full flights are struggling to hit 50% loads, pax image etc down, and I’m scratching my head…
Yes I have added capacity in the shape pf the Airbus A320/21, but would not affect the loads like this....
Once 100% full trunk routes such as BKK - HKT/CNX etc seriously struggling.
Also seems to of happened since we’ve been getting these “operation timed out” messages…
Any one else?
As of right now 1071. My SLF is decline but a slow rate. What basically its hurting me is that in some routes my business class SLF has dropped.
That's very high for an AGEX score. You shouldn't be losing any passengers because of the AGEX. I would check the flights ORS ratings and the ratings of other competitor flights, see where you might be having an issue. Check both direct and connecting flights.
The weird thing is he main airline operating out of Bangkok with over 6000+ flights.
Now try the whole Agex question with Agex at 850, as recently on Fornebu :)
Maybe there is some demand calculation issue? "Maybe" with the recent technical issues, some demand calculations get skipped, or "lost in the process"...?
Staff might be able to chime in.

Did you chance seats recently ? try and have a look in the ORS .... are all routes affected or only some ?

I changed seat config and all flights that were full before aren't even getting 20%, not just some, but a lot of them.

Well I can't set up the same seat config as it used to be, so I went with the one that is nearest to it.
I mean can you name me the set type you used before, and the one you use now?
Apples in the past do not equal apples today.
If you had Economy plus before, now you need at least Comfort plus to be near the same ORS rating.

Never understood the workings of AGEX...what the different numbers mean etc. ive just always set up airlines and run them as I see fit rather then worry about it.
But theres been no change within the comanpany in anyway.
Comfort plus and lie flat seats in the cabins, on newly acquired Airbus 320 Family (over the old 737-700 I did have) Newly fitted seats on aircraft as per AS information about the free configuration change...
No change in cabin service, staff pay or otherwise - highest levels of service to all customers.
6000+ deaprtures a week out of BKK with 75% market share at BKK so no issues with connections etc...
Just since the update my loads just plumeted. Looking at the route management page you could even see the clear change in a demographic somewhere , as once 100% full green flights dived to red and yellow load factors...
Thoughts?
EDIT: Looking at ORS, when hovering over the green bars, is it the top number I need to worry about or the bottom? I can never remember...
Examples are BKK-CNX 63/99, BKK-KBV 63/99, BKK-HKT 65/99
Those are excellent ORS ratings.

At your hub check what percentage of traffic is connection vs direct and see if that is trending wildly week-to-week
