I know there are so many threads on new seat but I need help!

I’ve always had A310’s in my fleet. They are old but very useful as they always make profits, the majority of my 40+ A310’s have profit margins of 20-40%.

I’m in the process of evaluating replacement aircraft. The 787 is too expensive and doesn’t make a profit even with the new business pricing, the 767/777 is the same. So my plan was to buy newer airframe A310 and just update the seats.

Here lies the problem - old model seats, all capacities are 100% and they seat 208 passengers. New seats only seat around 150 passengers making the plane unprofitable???

150 passengers? What kind of seats are you using?

Because your rating is higer with better seats, je can also raise the price. So I don't think this will lead to lower load factors

Lie flat 140 and leisure plus.

The plane is full and prices are much higher but still loosing money

Raise Prices Further or reduce service. Re-seating with slightly smaller seats is another option. Either way.
