Wikipedia data is as valid as it’s sources. When it comes to Indian airports data, Wikipedia stats are from the Airports Authority of India. Just follow the link at the bottom of the page and you’ll have access to the official traffic stats document.

No, Wikipedia data is not valid source. You can either take my word for it or you can keep thinking you know better. I can assure you Wikipedia data will not be accepted. You will need official sources with verifiable data linked to airport or aviation authorities of countries in question.
I give you all this information in good faith so you do not face a situation that you spend time and effort and then your gathered data will be invalidated because its source is Wikipedia.
We do not use Wikipedia data for aircraft, why would it be used for airports? We waited until E90 E2 and MAX 9 has official documentation available by OEMs, we did not take Wikipedia data. And we are still working on MAX 9 data, for example.
So to recoup, spend your time looking for official, verifiable sources, not for Wikipedia data.
The data being used so far is from airport authorities, not Wikipedia. It just happens that for airports in India Wikipedia contains reliable data that matches the official report of Airports Authority of India, because it is based in that report…

Good thing AS aircraft data is based on OEMs official data and not Wikipedia, because we all must agree that publishing aircraft performance graphs and figures is a little more complex than copying and pasting annual pax count numbers to an airport wiki page.

Adding to that: data needed for AS aircraft isn’t found on any Wikipedia page as it’s way to special for common interest. So obviousely Wiki can’t be the source.

The Chinese data comes from the CAAC. Many countries publish their air transport stats its just a question of drilling down into the sites to find it and quite often its overcoming the language barrier to do so. Out of interest where is PAS.

Johannes knows about it, and he has most likely been in touch with Martin. I’ve seen some correspondence at least.
We’ve decided to form a “Geo Data Team” to organise volunteers who want to help updating airport data in the game.
The goal is to find, review and organise the data for implementation. All data has to be gained from reliable sources - that’s probably the tricky part.
