Multiple Holdings: Although players may control more than one holding, cooperation between them is expressly forbidden. This particularly concerns stock market deals (including IPOs),providing services (renting out terminal space, for example), and buying, storing and selling aircraft. Holdings found to be in breach of these rules will be deleted.
for the following scenario: Player P owns 2 holdings, H1 and H2. H1 has an airline subsidiary A1 and H2 has an airline subsidiary A2.
while I am not this "more senior team member", the rule clearly aims at not providing any advantages through real life money. Therefor, any subsidiary of holding 1 must not cooperate with any subsidiary of holding 2 while h1 and h2 are owned by the same player.

no worries, I refer to martin as he was reading this at the time of my post.
also my question is kinda rhetoric actually, h1 and h2 already terminate their interline.. :D
An interline between 2 airlines of a same holding is available ingame
An interline between 2 airlines of 2 different holdings of the same user is blocked ingame
The only situation were the interline can subsist is when a holding af the same user buys a partner airline
Slightly off-topic but I wonder if Holding A buys a plane and leases it to Holding B at a lower price, is that allowed in the game?
I must confess that I almost did that in the game, because Q200 (and in fact Avro RJs as well) are so rare in the game because there is a big company buying up every Q200 and lease it back out again.
(That is very reasonable and if I were him, I probably would have done so...)
But I wanted my Holding B to actually own a Q200 so I thought I have to buy one first with my richer Holding A, lease it to Holding B so that it can grow to a size where the Q200 can be purchased.
But then I simply decided to give up Holding B (Q-200 is so crucial to the operation but there is simply no way to own one apart from leasing form that big company) so I am actually stuck with a now useless Q200 in Holding A lol
You would not be able to lease plane by Holding B offered on the used market by Holding A. The system would not allow that. Same as no signing of terminals, no interlines, no stock tardes between the two. Now, one thing is that both holdings can own minority stock of Holding X (for as long as they just own some shares but no majority of one of the holdings).
