Is a specific order when ORS distribute demand? E.g. when ORS calculate JFK demand, is there any specific order to determine JFK-LAX and JFK-SFO which one gets calculated first? Is it alphabetic order so that JFK-LAX is always calculated before JFK-SFO?
it’s going by distance with the furthers destinations being considered first, if I remember correctly

Almost…it’s the other way around. For smaller airports, connections to all destinations are computed at once, but their booking order is randomised. For larger airports, destinations are processed in dynamic batches grouped by increasing distance from the origin. Within those batches, the same randomisation applies.
