Honestly i don't like the temporary world but if i want play i need to join into an older game world.
About your opinion, have sense create an airline in an old world, example ELLINIKON O RIEM? Can i have chanche to grow my business or is only a lost time?
Start in an old world, creates far more of a challenge. As long as you are flexible about where you start your base, your routes, and aircraft I find it far more enjoyable
Ellinikon and Riem are probably the most difficult choices. But I'd recommend all other existing game worlds - you can always a nice to start a successful airline. Maybe you can ask a mentor if he knows a good spot.
The only downside on an existing world is that you're not completely free in choosing your location, but having to pick available spots. Besides that, playing should be more fun there, as you can cooperate with many existing airlines from the start.
thanks for reply. I've descarded Riem and after a short check in Ellinikon i've fond, for example, lisbon with lot of slots free and a small flight schedule. Hovever the problem remain the slot avalaibility in the pricnipal busiest airports...
Other it, my eyes are for gatow and pearls. In gatow i've played for 1 years and the players are few. I'll check the slot in both and after i'll decide.
Im actually waiting for the next server which is not temporary.
I usually start all my airlines in turkey (and no i dont want so start somewhere else) and in older server is it very difficulty to start a new airline there.
The best thing when u can start a new airline in turkey are the routes like IST-ADB,IST-AYT...
those routes always get full. And you can fly each like 50 times per day
Well good luck doing shuttle service on such short routes with the new pricing model, which the new world will have… And with the dynamic times the short shuttle routes will also be much less profitable. Anyway your call.

I'd tend to disagree. It's based on a completely different approach - and in total it's probably more similar to the legacy pricing model.
To spread some knowledge for everybody:
The first pricing model (introduced with the start of AS, but prices were increased when the new cabin editor arrived) is active on all legacy game worlds, except Ellinikon and Riem.
The second pricing model (introduced as a new approach, but now withdrawn due to negative feedback) is active on Ellinikon and Riem.
The third pricing model was active on Quimby III and and as it proved successful, will be on future game worlds.

It's really depend on your level of experience and how you want to play the game. If you really new to the game, you might want to consider play in Quimby, do trial and error, understand the basic mechanism of the game then jump on newly launch non-temporary server. Starting in newer server should be much easier because everyone start with same AS$ 10,000,000 and empty slots all over the world. Starting in older server could be more tricky and support from more established airline could be helpful to jumpstart a new airline.
I initially play in Ellinikon then in Riem when the server started. The advanced game world really turn me on as it implied more challenging environment, although it could be a marketing gimmick only lol. The challenge in Ellinikon is how to keep growing - growing enormously - and not to let your competitor outgrow you, as the demand is there you just need to keep ordering plane and send them somewhere to make money. In Riem however, at least in my Indonesian market, you can't just keep ordering passengers plane but need to plan the connection carefully because with the reduced demand you need to pad your flight with as much connection as you can possibly get and also encourage airline to plan for strategic cooperation more closely.
In the end I found Riem might be more complex but more rewarding, and keeping up with demanding real life activity, I don't think I can grow two holding at one,so I quit the Ellinikon. But then now my holding in Riem take less time to manage, I'm thinking to play in next world as well and Quimby could be a good one to try it out.

Thanks for this. I wonder how negative the feedback for the 2nd pricing model, as I'm doing just fine in Elli and Riem. Need to get used to the 3rd one then, look forward the next Quimby!
