It seems I have woken the cheating slot hog Lakair.
Apparently this all started because I bought more than 6% of Channel Link shares, even though I apparently had a 'gentlemens agreement' in place, which I didn't.
Lakair have now withdrawn the interlining agreement with Cyprian Airlines, and further more stated the following on their Channel Link main page:
Unreliable playing partners as Cyprian Airlines that do not abide by agreements and not respond to written questions, I'll throw out soon!
They have now started a new airline, Kition Air, at Larnaca in order to carry out this threat! Although anyone with an ounce of sense will see where they are going wrong. :P
I would therefore urge anyone to stay well clear of this new airline, and ask that anyone who has an interlining contract with us to not link with them. I know this might seem childish, but as kids would normally say "he started it first". ;)
What experiences have other players had with Mr Laker?
I have never had such a problem and I do never have IL whit airlines I have shares in and basically do not care. Well I have close collaboration agreements but they are just for example "I can fly regional to small airports whit 30 seaters or less and I will not cause any competition whit you if you do not have any competition whit me".
Otherwise of cource competitors open subsidiaries in places that other competitors have airlines just to fight but never verbally or whit saying bad things about each other. For example Stapleton, Unity Skies members (including my self) do everything to take down Rising Union members and other large non Unity members. I see that as the point of the game and because you have shares in a competitor does not meen the you should stop figting.
Insulting and publicly saying bad things about an airline is not accepted according to me and I would report it in game or at support as writing such insultments is not accepted.
He's been caught red-handed (cheating) 3 times before so far. I don't know why anyone continue to support him in any shape or form (interlining, buying shares etc).
But that's anybodies own decission, isn't it? I mean if there is a cheating you can report it and we will checkt it. But if not, everybody is free to support anyway.
