I have re-scheduled an a/c with a completely different set of flights plans and the one shown below is the new one which has been deferred for 3 days.
I made sure to include 2 hours ground time for maintenance (shown between 0658 - 0858) but it doesn't mark it as being blue for maintenance - why? As a result, my maintenance ratio shows as zero for this a/c
Is it possibly because the game still has the original flight plans in it's memory because they are in effect still active for 3 days, despite having been cancelled and so with both sets of flight plans on one aircraft, the game assumes there is no time for maintenance?
I am a little bit concerned at this point and am reluctant to make any further changes because of this ......
Can you try sending a screenshot than copy and pasting?
Agreed. The copy/paste doesn't present information in an informative way that allows us fellow players to help you.
Do the blue bars show up if you leave 2:01 instead of 2:00 for maintenance? If so, then it's a rounding issue (the game displays minutes, but does count seconds). If not, then it's probably a display issue.
As I've got so many changes to make, I'm going to completely re-start. I've learnt so much in the first few days that I already feel much more educated than I did 3 days ago !!
Can I just point out based on your post something before you reschedule.
You must have a minimum of 2 hours between flight activities (including turnarounds) to complete any maintenance action (shown in blue)
However you should have enough maintenance action periods during the week to have a minimum maintenance ratio of 100%, and been efficient less than 200%. To achieve this you would normally need around 4 hours a day for maintenance

I think not all ground time is available for maintenance and you actually need 10 or 20 minutes more than 2 hours to get a blue maintenance windows, probably because it take time for aircraft to taxi in/out but i am not sure.

Not true. If you look at the example attached...
0030 - 0206 = Block Time = Light Green
0206 - 0251 = Turnaround Time = Dark Green
0251 - 0451 = Ground Time = Blue
Block time in AS includes Taxi in, flight time, taxi in
Turnaround time includes ground handling and loading of passengers etc.
Ground time is when maintenance can occur
You must have two hours ground time, and can be done as you can see in 2 hours...
Just seen you are on a world with the flexible turnaround times. Can I suggest moving by one minute? So 2:01 free time. I'd suggest then its probably a rounding up of seconds during the flexi turnaround times
There is something different in the new servers, however. Some turnaround actions are done simultaneously if you make the plane depart immediately, showing the plane as “ready to depart” at a specific time. But if you give a maintenance gap these actions will be split, so total turnaround time will be longer. So in the new servers, setting the next flight to start 2 hours after the plane is ready to depart may not be enough, as by adding maintenance you will split the turnaround and so make it longer.
