More Pricing Options

The Pricing tool is OK for small airlines. However for big airlines it’s way too simple for what’s required with thousands of flights.

Would it be possible to include maybe an IF-THEN statement.

For example,

IF my flights are 100% in economy, THEN increase Economy prices 5%

IF my are flights are NOT 100% in Business Class, then decrease Business 10%

The Load Factor is already displayed in Load monitoring, so would create a big load to search through an airlines flights and increase those prices?

There were already many suggestions for pricing tool, for example to at least make it use the same options as inventory management does (airport pairs individual flights, return segments) but so far this is only on the wish list and there is no time frame for it.

This idea seems great but AS doesn't work this way exactly. A higher price will decrease your ORS, which might not fill your flights. The best thing is add capacity not increase price.

Why not increase prices as long as the plane fills? I would always take the price passengers are willing to pay. You can add capacity if you have reached the maximum price.

Because Airlinesim doesn’t work this way. CBE said it already and you seem to ignore basic mechanisms. After you increase price lightly, you can experience a severe drop in passenger numbers if your own rating gets lower than the competition with that price increase. In other words, charge 225 AS$ and you may have 100% load factor, charge 230 AS$ and your load factor may drop to 30%.
