Hi there,
Just joined AirlineSim yesterday…
I have started my airline, and i’m based in Billund, Denmark (BLL). I started out buying a J41 aircraft and created a schedule for that aircraft. Then i’ve spend this afternoon, i getting 3 more aircrafts to the company, and made some schedules. I did book a transfer flight for every aircraft, and 2 of them have already arrived to the base. However, those are not going to fly until tomorrow, but i did assign them a schedule which has flights this evening. But they won’t start flying until tomorrow evening, and i do have flights tomorrow morning for them…
Does it takes 24 hours, before the aircraft can fly their schedule, or what did i do wrong?
Thank you in advance!
Morten
Hi Morten,
even if you activate a flight schedule "without delay". It will take 24 hours before the first flight takes off.
If your plane started flying straight away, passengers would have no time to book a ticket and your plane would fly empty

Hi Jan
Yes, when you say that, that makes actually very much sense.
Thanks for your answer!
Morten
Just one quick question again.
Does the demand at an airport increase over time?
Let’s say i will make hub at an airport with a demand rating of 1. Will this increase, and make the airport more attractive when i set up more flights to/from that airport?
Morten
No, the demand doesn´t increase. But you will have transfer passengers at your hub. They are travelling e.g. from airport A via your hub B to airport C.
Plus you also get passengers from the ground network
