Hii all

I need help in the situation that I have.

I'm pretty new here, around a month.

I opened a route from TLV to BOJ and I'm the only one that operating a direct route to BOJ from TLV. 

I have the highest flight rating (all segments) according to the ORS, but still not even close to fully booking.

Can you please tell me why?

I really dunno, I just wait a few days, and that usually sorts it out, If not, there isn't enough demand on the route.

At demand calculation time, you will have 2 "booking slots" out of 3,375 possibilities.

That means 0.059%, basically a bit ore than one half of one-tenth of a percent.

Even with the highest rating, maybe your "power" at booking time grows tenfold, so it's like having 20 booking slots out of 3,375 possibilities. Which means a bit more tahn one-half of a percent of all passenger demand on demand calculation day, divided up between your two flights.

Or the reason is that, there isn't too much demand between Romania and Israel

So, you have to cut this route if it keeps going on like this.  ^_^

Because there is not enough demand???!

It’s not that difficult. Not every route is simply full just because you’re the only one who operates it!

There is a lot of demand between Romania and Israel. Only that there are usualy a lot of flight OTP-TLV. But I think there is not so much demand between BOJ (south of Bulgaria) and Israel. Also, you should take into consideration that the ground network of BOJ include IST and OTP and if you do not have enough transfer passengers then you will not get your flights full.

ORS isn't everything. It's only a part of the whole. Ground networks might give you a few seats, but the major thing you need are connections going through to other destinations. As Rubio said, if you only have a small percentage of the available connections, and since there is a finite amount of passengers going directly from TLV to BOJ, you're only going to get a percentage of those. Try setting up flights that connect to that one to other destinations in Europe and west Asia.
