Hi all,

My airline rating seems to given as BBB even though all of the 'Financial Rating' indicators show AAA. When I had an airline a few years back it seemed to be directly linked but it has been like this for a few days now.  How often does it get updated?

I have no idea why you that rating even exists. I would think it would be much better with something like Profitable and Unprofitable.

The financial rating is an indicator, mostly to those who are going to be loaning you money or investing in you, and doesn’t mean the same thing as un/profitable. You can be profitable and still a bad credit/investment risk, and vice versa. In fact, my rating changes depending on where I am in the financial week, thanks to the timing of lease/contract payments and the sheer amount of equity that my airline is worth.

I think the rating is more like a long-term indicator. A few day won't change the rating. I have several airlines lie in AAA for nearly a month while the indicator still shows A. It takes really long time to change it

It will not change from A to anything, because it's a bug since AS 6.2

Maybe they go down, but I certainly have not seen them go up.
