I changed the schedule of an aircraft

Now, it ends in Airport A and after 4 hours, departs from Airport B.

Is there a way I could schedule a revenue flight from Airport A to B? Something like scheduling a one-off flight 3 days later..

Depends on how far in the future the gap is. More than 24 hours? Yes. Less than 24 hours? No

Also, it woukd require more work than it’s probabaly worth

And to elaborate on the how:

Empty the flight plan, schedule the required flight, activate the flight plan without delay, clear the flight plan, recreate all regularly scheduled flights, activate with three days delay

And there is no way to save the existing flight plan and bring it back later from the saved files?

Thanks for the idea, Yukawa! I did it the way you recommended.

Only to make it easier, I renumbered all existing flight numbers the aircraft was assigned to into a specific new range (just added 1 in front of all of them)

Created the flight I wanted to fly

Erased the flight plan

Added the flight I wanted to add.

Activated the flight plan

Erased that flight

Added back all the flights from that range

And it seems to have worked perfectly fine!

And for a startup airline, it IS worth the effort. (in terms of money and feeling good about being efficient)

Hope there could be the following features:

  1. Save a flight plan with a nickname to load it back later onto an aircraft

2) Book a one-off flight for an aircraft..

Do guide if there are any specific downsides to these that I am overlooking
