Stapleton server

Stapleton server extremely sluggish and draging in the last 2 days...

For some of my airlines on Stapleton (e.g. Arab World Airways) every user action that involeves writing to the database fails (with a timeout).

At the same time all background tasks for these airlines (e.g. flight updates) work smoothly.

And there are other airlines on the same server (e.g. Epsilon Airlines) that have no problems at all.

Doesn't look like a server load problem to me.

AIRLINE SIM should compensate all players with this issue!! You shouldn't give the reason "we are fixing" for few days and the situation doesn't turn any better at all. WTF!! What kind of services you are offering with increasing prices??!! Use higher prices for bad services?? C'mon, your services for this time really sucks!! I will stop purchasing credit from you whenever you don't compensate us.

Please read the announcement forum before spouting off nonsense. It has been well documented that they plan to offer compensation to affected users.

I know this is in the 'Stapleton' thread, but a few things to point out...

* They are compensating people, with both in-game money for money lost and for game credits. Read the reports. There's plenty of information on compensation in them.

* A lot of the errors have been fixed so far. I play on Aspern, and I've noticed that many things have cleared up. Others haven't, but I've been reading the posts by Martin and SK and I feel assured they are working on the problem.

* If you are going to come on here and kick and yell and scream about when the service is "bad", you better be back on here and jumping and singing and clapping your hands about how "good" the service is when it's fixed. Seriously.

* I am frustrated too. I haven't been able to do the things I want to do the past couple of days. But I understand it's basically one person working on this problem. Uno. Cut them a little slack. It's been happening for two days. That's, what, eight credits? That's 0.29 Euro, if you're using the most expensive method of buying credits, and they're not compensating you (which they are). If that's too much to pay, you may want to rethink what you are spending money on.

the other day you wrote "fix it !!" ... as if you were telling a dog to fetch a stick.

Disagree with decisions. Fight for your opinion. But this was an accident. Shouting "What the fuck!!" doesn't help anyone  ;-)

The announcement was done last hour. At least they did something for compensation to show they really concern about the issue. Anyway, thanks.
