Terminals & assignment in new UI

I re-watched the Munich features in Action video in English.

Martin says at 11.11 that the players will be able to assign a specific terminal (e.g. T4) even if they do not have a contract at that terminal (T4).

I see this as a possible weak link of the whole terminal assignment process.

For airports where there are 20 passenger terminals, it may be confusing for players, and lots of miss-clicks will occur (mark my words) with players assigning flights to terminal they had no intention to assign them to.

The solution would be to either show only terminals at the airport for which at least one contract exists, or put additional checkbox where players can select if they want to show all terminals or only contracted terminals at the airport. In the interface, you can put this checkbox between departure time and departure terminal boxes. If checked, all terminals at the airport would be shown. If unchecked, only the terminals with at least one service contract would be shown.

If this issue is not addressed, there WILL be complaints, because imagine an airport with 20 terminals, and a player has a contract for terminal 11. If all terminals are shown, the player need to look the terminal up when scheduling in a long pull-down list of all available terminals. It will bring flight scheduling to a crwal and will also be source of any errors, by miss-selecting the terminal and activating flight from it, with resulting flight cancellation at the departure time.

Also, the "default" terminal selection feature for the airport that exists today should be maintained, and default terminal the player has selected, this "default terminal" should be also pre-selected in the drop down box. Otherwise, imagine player who owns Terminal 24, and he wants to assign flight to it, he would need to scroll waaay down the menu.

Thanks for the input, I'll think about it.
