Rich but not very profitable as shown by the stock market...
I think that he wants to leave the game, because he really don't need to go to the stock exchange with 350 Millions of AS of revenue each week....
But nobody will be able to buy all his shares and his airline :)
Now a second IPO attempt. The airline now valued at AS$ 4,2 billions, almost 10% increase. Profit however has been down by 17.5%.
Some people asking me privately about what's the owner's intention - as if I would know <_< - my guess is he just want to IPO for the sake of trying it and be the biggest airline in the market. However without good communication with potential investors, people will be reluctant to invest in such controversial company. I can see people chip in some cash to buy 1000, 2000, or 5,000 shares - me myself throw some AS$ 50,000 - but I don't think it's gonna be enough to make the IPO successful.
During the last IPO, the figures didn't look impressive to me. In the real world, I would not have invested a cent in a declining enterprise. I am surprised to see a second IPO which shows even more negative accentuated figures.
When checking the Airline's "Facts and Figures" pages, I can see that over the past three weeks (23, 24 & 25) virtually no management action has been taken. The number of flights, offered seat kilometers, etc. are absolutely identical.
Even though two IPO's have been launched, it looks to me as if the player has abandoned the game.

You're right, that's what I said : the player has no more time to play and want to introduce his airline to the market so that another member can buy his airline
But the problem is that he won't be able to go to the stock exchange : his airline is too big
And then, nobody will be rich enough to buy his airline
Some players are too proud to reset sometimes ^_^
Oh - she can be (without an ironic undertone) be proud of her airline.
When you get a 6+ pages forum thread where people speculate why your airline is so successful, then you know that you have achieved.

The guy of Boston has just reset and... so funny, another airline with the same name but another user was just created :)
The guy of Kuwait just put his airline on the stock exchange (he probably wants to sell his airline too...)
The moral of the story is that in this game, grow up too fast is very exiting but quickly boring ;)

It is unprofessional restarting every week, atleast you persever...
Taking airlines specialised names is not nice like my CBE and your Glinx brands but there are other airlines called Asian Airways and anybody can call them selfs Asian Airways as I do not see it as a specialised name and nothing personal to me but I still do not want somebody taking my logo.

Reset for me is a must when I see that my income is declining: one is to adjust my game, or two is to reset. But Ba Air and BA Air is clearly the same so what to say.
FYI: I played in Riem for 3 weeks before this week I must reset, not every week as you said.
