Why pay for crew in Cargo fligts???

Hi all,

why do I have to pay for crew in a pure cargo flight????

Not sure... It just says crew... I assume this would be the cabin crew, or does it mean the pilots as well???

Well pilots and cabin crew in the real world are considered as air crew. On the basis I don't see anywhere else on the breakdown where the pilots pay comes out of, I would suggest that is your answer

I think you're right!!!

I forgot about the pilots... We have to pay them to keep them flying the planes, right???

Do not forget; with expensive, non-ordinary, oddsize or live animals usually a paid crew and the shipper will be on board.

And don't forget people who put the cargo inside the aircraft.

They need to be paid, too.

Major advantage of passengers: They put their butts in the seats themselves. Which is why they are called SLF (unofficially of course) within the airline industry - Self Loading Freight. ;)
