6.2-53 update - the banner

Change-Log is here now: http://www.airlinesim.aero/blog/2015/03/13/update-v6.2-53/

Announcement here: http://www.airlinesim.aero/blog/2015/03/13/new-airlinesim-blog/

I’m still working out a few details though.

In light of the recent criticism of the entire 6.2 release, I can only imagine Martin and the entire AS team thinking “oh what now?” in exasperation. But…

Using the Light theme in-game, the banner text is very difficult to read as the text is nearly the same colour as the background.

Don’t worry Martin, I like the rest of the changes. 6.1 didn’t offer schedule offsets and airspeed variation. It’s the only way I can get usable slots at some of the popular airports.

However, I don’t like the Disqus addition to commenting on the blog, which is why I’m posting this to the forums instead of there. I don’t want to have to sign up for another account with a different service in order to comment on a service that I already have an account with, and I don’t want to use my Facebook/Google logins as I don’t want my real name posted anywhere. I’d much prefer a commenting solution that uses your existing user database.

Concerning the colors: Haven't actually checked the other themes before rolling it out. Will do.

Concerning Disqus: Fair enough. I've enabled guest posting, so I guess one could now using without being signed up. Have to see how well that works in terms of Spam etc.
