6.2 to all servers?

Sure, there may be some screens to be simplified and more accessable. But please give us some more hints, were you occur these problems.

Some hints to make it more accessible:

  • Avoid low contrast like light grey text on grey background. I thought this would be obvious. Bad readability is not about getting used to it. It's just bad readability.
  • Don't rely on mouseover effects; there is no mouse on smartphones and tablets.
  • Don't use tiny fonts, particularly not for navigational elements like menus. Tiny fonts are for the indication of ingredients for canned food.
  • Make all navigation elements and action buttons large enough that users can hit them with the first try. If you absolutely have to use small navigation elements, give them some padding.

This applies not to "some screens" but basically to all screens.

...

I’m yet to try the new mobile version, but cannot for the life of me see how the mobile version can be easier to navigate though than the online version.

It certainly is not.

While some here say the desktop version has too much info per page (I’d say it’s just right) the mobile interface however is lacking info per page resulting in excessive tipping and scrolling.

Guys its not only the layout, its the whole new view and everything is called different, locations are different and screens are just too full of data.

Lets look at the possitives, new features are nice, but where is Marketing. codeshare flights and other interesting features we all talked about on the forums.

We now have a version that would be nice if you start on a new world, but running an airline for some years this is a crime.

New features might be good to have. But please implement them one by one. With some time in between, to let the players feel the use of them.

And the route managment, and being able to see all flights of a route with one click out of the single flight information, window, is one of my key methods of playing this sim.

I tried a few other online sims before joining this one. And it was the simplicity, yet challenging aspect, that made me hooked on this one. And have been so for 2,5 years now.

I really hope for a revert of 6.2. Or at least bring back the route management section?

Is there any way to find the weekly market shares of a route, divided on the various carriers, in 6.2?

This was one of the good features of the previous version, that gave uoy a quite good hinge, on how you were doing in the market, by switching the weeks back and forth.

I used to rely heavily on information from the route management myself as well, but then since some time ago I actually get a better overview looking through offices and the corresponding routes (inbound/outbound). It’s only after that that I would check a particular airport pair if I need more detailed information. So while Route Management will be missed, it’s not the end of the world.

I hope everyone that is threatening to leave actually does, I could use the slots.

Thats really a constructive comment.

There are some things that we would like to see. Thats all. Its not about slots or people leaving its about getting a simple overview. When you are running an airline with 700 aircraft its not simple any more.

To be honest, I tried out Quimby for a short period - but realized shortly after that the design/new gameplay wasen't really my thing. Currently I am trying to adopt, but I'm 50/50 about this will be the end of a nearly 3-year adventure. Will be interesting to see..

I hate to say it, but I feel exactly the same way after several years of enjoyment of this game.
