It's bothering my mind why 737-700 can put one less row of leisure seats (138) as opposed to 737-300 (144), whereby the difference in cabin length is at the most 2 inches (depending on where you look for data). And both planes show 98.4% cabin occupation with full leisure seats (144 vs 138). So the difference here would be at least 31 inches, or 2.5 feet.
While it is true that fuselage length of 737-700 is shorter than that of 737-300, cabin length and volume does not seem to suffer.
E.g. flightglobal states for both 737-300 and 737-700 cabin length of 24.18 meters.
737-300 cabin length also shows as 24.18 meters here
http://www.flystarflight.com/aircraft/commercial-airliners/boeing-737-300/
another site shows 24.16 meters (or 79 foot and 3 inches which is 951 inches = 2415.5 cm = 24.155 m)

737-700 cabin length shows as 24.13 meters here
http://www.private-airlines.com/aircraft-information/boeing/737-700/
http://privatair.com/aircraft/boeing-737-700-44c
which is only a minor difference of 0.05 meters = 5 centimeters, or less than 2 inches, nowhere near 31 inches the cabin configuration tool suggests.
Also, cubic volume per passenger seems to be the same on 737-300 and 737-700 according to these data.

Under current cabin config, the only way to reach same seating config (number of seats) on 737-300 and 737-700 is with slimline HD. Not even standard seats seam to make the cut.
Can you please review the 737-700 cabin length and make a necessary adjustment if deemed appropriate?
Thank you.
