Hey guys,
Could someone elaborate what the warning sign next to the seating capacity of the 737-900 series mean. I'm a bit confused as to what the actual capacity I will be able to set up.
Thank you ;)

If you aren't doing standard seats, you can ignore it. Basically the plane cannot sustain the weight of passenger if you do 220 passengers in a BGW version.
You can put 220 Slimeline Seats into the Airplane ...... but the Maximum Payload may restrict the number of Passengers you are able to carry. So in other words you may fly with 220 passengers on short trips where you do not need much fuel .... but if you want to fly from Boston to LA you will carry less then the 220 pax .... I am using it with 150 to 160 pax in a 3 class configuration .... with the new editor it will be a bit less then that ....so depends on what routes you want to operate it ....

Now with 100% more slime! <grin>
Check the performance calculator between city pairs, the math behind the payload restriction is relatively easy, but as they’ve said, you should be fine so long as you use better-than-slimline(or standard, if not on Aspern) seats. Every passenger is valued at 95kg regardless of class of service, and each unit of cargo at 100kg. As long as (passengers95)+(cargo100) is less than Calculated Payload for a specific city pair, there won’t be any payload restrictions for your flight. If your calculation is higher than the calculated payload, then cargo will be restricted first, followed by economy seats, then business, then first.
Thanks guys ;)

The 900ER BGW can only load a max of 184 pax as that’s its max. payload limit no matter what route you’re operating. It however has the cabin space for more seats. To use this space you either can increase spacing or select larger seats.
Several Airlines use this acft for long haul flights. Trans oceanic flights, also.
In real life this acft is not up for that. ETOP rules should aply…

ETOP for B737-900 ER should be 2 hours, pretty much covering the crossing of Atlantic.
You can put 220 Slimeline Seats into the Airplane .
I thought that the maximum limit is 215 for the 737-900ER?

I can see that you understand the ETOPS concept.
