Airbus has announced a new model of the A350 family the A350-900 ULC it is similar to a 359 but it has additional fuel tanks and higher MTOW (280 tonnes). This plane will be able to fly 8700 nautical miles which is over 16000 km!!! The first aircraft will be delivered to Singapore Airlines in 2018 as Singapore Airlines will again launch US service with these new aircraft. Here is the article from airbus.
Finally there is a replacement for the 777-200LR!!!

Not the seatmap for the -ULR, but SQ has released the seatmap for the regular. They unfortunately went with a 3x3x3 in Y.

Truely, 3-3-3 isn't a desirable configuration. But from my own experience on the
787 of QR with 17.2 in / ~43 cm I would have died for those extra 0.8 in / ~2 cm...

But I am pretty big and tall, so... anyone over 6 ft should not be over 6 hours in
the Y of QR’s 787… FRA-DOH was enough for me.
+ I am excited that DUS will come on the map in Singapore with the new A350
and SQ coming to our awesome airport! :)

From what Bombardier said the EIS will be sometime next spring.
