About the Development Logbook

Making a game like AirlineSim is a lot of work and takes a lot of time. In fact, some features take so long to develop that some might think we’re not doing anything at all while just sitting on our lazy butts and annoying paying players

Obviously, we want to avoid this impression and we want to shorten the wait for new features a bit. Therefore we decided to bring back something that we already practiced a few years ago: The Development Logbook

These are the rules:

  • The logbook is a separate board on our forums.

  • Only the development team is allowed to open new threads.

  • To reply, comment and criticize (trolling prohibited, though), please look for or open a corresponding thread on the board in your language

  • We try to post as often and as detailed as possible, but…

  • …there is a lot of stuff we have to do every day that is either not of interest or not diclosable to the public. So don’t get worried when there’s no new content for a few days.

  • Since we want to post as much and as often as possible, the logbook will be English only! I know this sucks for all other nationalities, but it just lowers the barrier to posting a lot and keeps the effort acceptable. We will try to post as many pictures as possible (says more than a 1000 words or something…) and maybe there will be kind community members who will simply post short translations.

We don’t know yet how the logbook will work out, but it’s our attempt to make the development process a bit more transparent and to somewhat shorten the awful wait for the next patch. We hope you like it and look forward to your feedback!

Anmerkungen auf DEUTSCH

=============================

You guys are amazing.
