Air Jordanian is a new airline born out of the ashes of Jordan National Airways. The airline aims to be the national airline and the main gateway to the levant. The airline currently operates a fleet of 3 aircraft operating 168 weekly flights to 10 destinations across the levant and beyond.

The fleet comprises of:

1x Bombardier Dash 8 Q400B

Configured 12 Crown Class and 60 Traveller Class seats

2x McDonnell Douglas MD-88

Configured 16 Crown Class and 120 Traveller Class seats

Our customers arent just limited the destinations we serve. Through our 4 interline partners Apus Line, Aviv Air Regional, Dubair & Thai Wings they have hundreds of destinations to connect to through their respective hubs. Already we are seeing customers benifiting from this service and connecting to onward flights

AIR JORDANIAN EXPANDS

Due to the very good advanced bookings on our regional flights, Air Jordanian has embarked on its first stage of expansion much earlier  than planned. We have acquired a 2nd Dash-8 Q400B (nicknamed Irbid) which has enabled us to increase frequencies on existing routes aswell as start  3 NEW ROUTES.

We are increasing to Aqaba & Damascus due to the high early uptake of seats on the routes. The two extra mid afternoon service complement our existing services perfectly and in the case of the Aqaba service provides a more seamless connection onto our AMM-DXB flight.

The CEO says "Aqaba is a great destination in itself as it is Jordan's only coastal city so offers a weekend trip opportunity for people inland. Also it is a mere 2 hour drive away from the majesticness of Petra. Also on the return leg it carries a lot of people connecting not only onto our flights but onto our iterlining flights also"

Included in the 2 new routes are 2nd & 3rd destinations in Egypt (Aswan & Marsa Alam) aswell as our 2nd Israeli Destination (Hafia). Currently our plan is to avoid the major gateways of Egypt and Isreal so as to off presiously unserved gateways and connection to the rest of the middle east and beyond.
