Airbus a320E family

Well, Airbus states Sharklets are availible for the A318ACJ (http://www.airbus.com/aircraftfamilies/passengeraircraft/a320family/ , "Sharklets also are equipped on the corporate jet versions based on Airbus’ A320 Family members: the ACJ318, ACJ319, ACJ320 and ACJ321.")...but I think its the same as with the 736 discussion we had some times now: If some Airline wanted it, Boeing would surely build an other 736. For that reason you can still order it in the game. I guess its the same with the A318 Sharklets...if somebody wanted to order an A318 Sharklet, Airbus would build it (guess there would be no problem with certification or anything if Airbus built a non ACJ A318 Sharklet as the difference between the ACJ and the normal version is marginal...I think the only reason why the do not list it is that they do not expect anybody to order an A318, except for some ACJs perhaps...).

No, the 318ACJ is a corporate jet. There are differences and it is certified only for a few passenger. So this is not comparable.

If they don't list it because they don't expect order - they should remove the complete A318 too ;)

If they don't list it because they don't expect order - they should remove the complete A318 too ;)

I guess they keep it as it doesn't really cost them anything as it is the same production line as the rest of the family...same with the 736, see here: http://leehamnews.com/2012/08/07/boeing-appears-to-finally-drop-737-600/ (" Should customers request to order a Next-Generation 737-600, Commercial Airplanes Sales Teams will work with the customer to meet their requirements."). So I think its the same situation for both of them - so to have a consistant way, you should either stop the 736 production in AS or also include the A318 Sharklet also (I guess not so many A318 Sharklet would be ordered in AS anyway - but just to have a consistant way of doing things...)...

The 318ACJ is a business jet at not the normal airliner. We do not have any business jet in the game. An that the 318 airliner is not even rendered with sharklets is not really an argument for the theory that it can be ordered with sharklets.

Good news! Will the Boeing 787-9 also be added in the next data patch?

And are the winglets in real life also available for the 737-700/800 BGW? The 737-900ER BGW is offerd with winglets so why not the -700 and -800 too? And about the new airports: can the new Doha airport be added too? cargo flight allready started here

The 787-9 is not delivered yet, but there is already an early stage  version on our test server. But not part of this data patch.

Is the BGW version offered with winglets? If so, please send us a notice with link to public sources and we will add them too - but not with this patch ;)

The same for Doha - I'm the opinion that it is not opened so far.

Correct .... the new DOH airport is still not open yet .....
