[all pages] Scheduled downtime on Tuesday, February 23rd

Taken from the blog for your convenience:

This is just to let you know that we will be rolling out major upgrades to our backend systems this coming Tuesday, the 23rd of February.

Unfortunately, this means almost all systems, including account management and payment pages as well as the game worlds will have to be taken offline.

Due to the comprehensive nature of the upgrade, the downtime might take up to several hours. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause and thank you for your understanding.

Is there a particular time we should expect suspension?
And will flights scheduled during the outage still run? (noob question sorry)

We will most likely commence the upgrade sometime in the morning, German time. Bit we don’t have a concrete timeline.

All flights will take off and passengers will still book their flights, it might just take a little while until the simulation has caught up after the downtime.

From what we can tell, the majority of the upgrade should be finished and almost all game worlds have recovered their backlog.

If you encounter any issues, please let us know. We literally switched out the complete account management backend, so some teething issues are to be expected.

Once again, thanks a lot for your understanding!
