Asian Airways

Aaa!  . I have been trying to design a livery for so long. Seems, it is not my thing, seriously!  :(

Thanks. When i wrote that, i felt that there is a word for that. never used that word myself before.

Asian Airways has lately suffered from bad management which has had our profit margin droping and our SLF dropping to 94%. The CEO has seen this as a personal insult and is now back at the helm of the company.

Asian Airways will also rebrand to Malaysian with a new brand identity. We will reconfigure some of our aircraft and we will expand our network and we want to reach 3000 weekly departures from KUL as well as adding to our long haul market and adding connection to India and China.

Our employees have been prepared for the rebrand to becoming the flag carrier of Malaysia by them name of Malaysian.

All our staff have been given the new uniforms suited for their position an aircraft have started gradually being repainted and seating configurations replaced to suite the new concept and brand. As Well as a seat standardization program which will make our seating configurations standardized with the same type of seats in all aircraft to enable all aircraft to operate any route.

Our economy seat is a reclining seat featuring an adjustable legrests and comfortable upholstery that makes for a good sleeper seat on short- to medium-distance flights which is usually used as business class seats. This seat will be used in all range sectors.

We will though have 3 different Business seats for different different range sectors.

We are happy to have been to have been signing a interlining contract with Arabic Airways of Oman. From now on all passengers arriving from Oman on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays can been connecting to Asians large network in Asia and Australia.

We will add 3 new daily Australian this week which will total the number of Australian destination we serve to 5.

Malaysian has been signed a deal for leasing 13 A321Es from Tao Aviation Services. These A321Es will add our total A321E fleet to 65 airframes (one leased out). We currently have one of the largest fleets of A320 family aircraft in the world.

Malaysian has been opening a special maintenance facility and a large computer controlled warehouse for parts in KUL for A320 family aircraft which is needed to give first class maintenance to our fleet of 165 A320 family aircraft which is steadily growing.

Currently we already have 10 brand new A320Es on order from Mali based leasing company Shark leasing. These aircraft will join the modern fleet of Malaysian as soon as they are delivered from the manufacturer Airbus.

All new aircraft will directly receive the livery of Malaysian instead of the Asian livery. These new aircraft will first go through a long and careful maintenance check as well as new seat installation and livery painting before entering active service. While all this is going on in our new Advanced maintenance facility our operations and flight planning team are busy getting schedules for these aircraft and negotiating handling and slots with airports.

We will need about 5000 new staff during the coming month so recruiting is in overdrive.

7 of our fleet of 19 E195s have been scheduled a departure day from the fleet of Malaysian. All will eventually go except for the 2 first aircraft of Malaysia Air (the name when we were founded) which will be bought and live out their years in the new Malaysian Museum as an exhibit. These aircraft will always be kept fly ready to be able at any time to enter operation and to fly on flying displays. Though they currently have about 1.5 year left of service in Malaysian or it´s subsidiaries until they will eventually only be used for flying displays. They will both receive the Malaysia Air livery which they have worn their first 2 weeks of operation.

These 2 aircraft currently were their original registration 9M-ABG and 9M-ABH which they have been registered since they left the Embraer factory on their long delivery flight to Kuala Lumpur.

Now it is official that all (except ABG and ABH) E195s will leave Malaysian during this next week. The schedules will be taken over by A320E family aircraft and capacity will be doubled on most routes.

The schedule changes made will be very minimal, we do not expect the departure times will change by more than a couple of hours.

The grand fleet of Malaysian was finalised yesterday at toulouse with a deal of 50 A330NEO (30 being the 900 model and 20 being the 800 model) an other order was put on 20 A350-1000 which will together with 30 A350-900 run our long haul fleet. These aircraft will all be delivered by 2018. We have still kept our Memorandum for Understanding with Boeing over the 737MAX but we will not firm the orders until Boeing proves the cost efficiency. For the time being until the 737MAX we will operate A320 CEOs and NEOs. We also placed an order as the launch customer for the A320NEO with a firm order for 50 of which 10 will be bought and the rest leased from a combination of lessors. We also placed an order for the A321NEO and A319NEO resulting in 50 aircraft of each type. Our current fleet is mainly used aircraft which all are under 2 years old but with the addition of some new aircraft which are pending delivery from a private lessor. The grand fleet consists of 36 A319s, 64 A320s (+10 pending delivery), 64 A321s and 2 E195s which are bought and will be transferred to Americas Airlines until they will be retired and loaned to Museums in Malaysia on a new exhibit involving technology and Aviation history.

Asian will be waiting for the rebrand until the new name is fully approved by authorities and the name and brand will continue being Asian until the new name is approved.

Today in a meeting with Bombardier in Montreal the CEO Mr Christian Pålsson signed an order for 100 brand new CSeries aircraft after Bombardier presented the final data of the aircrafts as well as the results from the flight testing campaigns. This order includes 50 CS300 and 50 CS100 with 100 options for each version. Asian is to date the largest customer of the Cseries aircraft and Asian will be the launch customer for both types.

The CEO is finally back in his seat ruling the company with a hard iron fist. After his long break he is back in his proper seat in the boardroom of the airline in the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur. The next week he expects the airline to give a 100 million dollar profit.

The airline will need around 2000 more stewardesses and 500 more check in agents during the next month so recruiting is in overdrive.

Our criteria for our stewardesses is:

  • Retired from active duty at 32 years of age
