Balance in bank account

Hi,

One suggestion:

Add one column to the bank account statement that shows the running balance after each transaction.

This would be usefull because it would allow us to estimate cash flow during the financial week. Now we would have to keep separate records if we wanted to track this. Seems like a minor thing to do ;-)

IPO and you can see the actual cash flow.

EBITDA sucks in real life but in AirlineSim where there are no taxes, it's your actual cash flow if you don't have interest expense. If you do have interest expense, use EBITDA then subtract your interest expense to get your cash flow.

In real life, we create cash flow statements by working from net income backwards to get changes in cash. Take net income, add back depreciation, amortization, etc (among many, many other adjustments).

None of that tells you how much money flowed in during the last 24 hours.

I’d like to throw my support behind this. It should not be hard to create the extra column.

All of the real banks that I work with online actually provide a balance column. I find it incredibly useful.
