I long for better data. Seems like it should be easy enough to provide, but if the programming is too much work, why not provide an API so we can build our own solutions?
What is my most profitable route? What is my least profitable route? On a specific route, what interlining partners am i sending traffic to? Which of my partners are sending me traffic, and from where?
What cargo aircraft will be best for a particular route?
While i’m on the subject, why can’t i see my entire network at once, instead of switching between short haul, medium, and long?
I enjoy this game, but i find myself spending far, far too much time clicking between screens just to do 1 thing, and then having to do a lot of manual math to figure basic things out.
You can go to AS Route Map | View and see your whole network, there are also Airlinesim Enhancement Suite that is a chrome extension that will allow to find your best routes and aircraft. It even assists with price adjustments.
I would also love to see what airport my passengers are coming from and to as well as what interlining partner is actually filling my planes.
A lot of these things will be coming eventually, I promise
I am still very much involved with groundwork around the whole topic of the Distribution System, but it’s starting to bear fruit and I expect a lot of visible enhancements over the coming year or so.
