I’m starting a regional on my airline and it needs a cash infusion. I bought a $1m aircraft and transferred it. I go to list it for sale and it tells me “You don’t have enough cash available”. I don’t understand the concept here. If the aircraft was purchased directly how can it not be sold?
Assuming you’re trying to sell it internally via the asset transfer tool, my guess would be that the receiver doesn’t have enough cash on hand.
My mainline has plenty of cash on hand for this. This is what I get when I go sell from my regional’s fleet management page
Ah, you’re trying to sell it on the regular market. In that case, this error can stem from penalties for cancelled flights. Does the aircraft in question happen to still have flights booked in that might cause refunds?
