From a profit side, there's higher maintenance costs.
In terms of how much you can pick an old aircraft up for is it worth the extra in maintanence?
Thanks
The age of a cargo aircraft does have a significant effect on the image rating because cargo aircraft also don't have access to other image factors such as flight attendants, seat space, and other considerations.
Don't get discouraged at having to do a lot of trial-and-error. We all had to do it.
So will it give a negative rating if the aircraft is say 2o years old?
Generally the age can be cancelled out by the aircraft's base image (e.g. if it was a 747 F, it would have 5 positive green bars) I'm not saying it's harder to make a profit, but with a smaller cargo demand than passenger, it can be troublesome operating 2 decade old planes.
Okay Thanks

between 12 and 20 years of age you will find the sweet spot between acceptable maintenance costs, no disturbing bad rating and low investment costs for cargo aircraft
When it comes to cargo, 20 years old airplanes can do very well :)
