Hi, i haven’t been able to figure out what the advantages are to have a cargo terminal. It doesn’t say anything about it on the handbook.
I’ve also seen 2-3 post about the subject but they’re kind of old so i was hoping to get some fresh informations.
I’m guessing it impacts the price of cargo handling, but how ? Someone has numbers ?
since there has not been a response, yet, allow me to say:
I don’t think there has been any change to how the cargo terminal works or cost in a long time, so the old information should still be valid.
but you are correct, it reduces the costs for handling, however: even if cargo terminals appear to be less expensive than pax terminals, this is only economically beneficial to those players that have billions laying around. it takes about a 100 weeks give or take (according to some old threads) to amortize the investment into a terminal. think about all the things you could do with that money instead
