Due to repetitive pax underbookings on many routes I removed some seats in order to make some room for cargo in a combi configuration fashion. Yet when the plane started to fly after this conversion I received no cargo even when my cargo carry rates where very competetive. Is combi configuration not permitted or do I need to do something extra to start getting cargo?
Combi configurations are only possible with certain specific models. On the Aircraft Manufacturers page, the applicable models are noted as "Convertible to _____kg cargo".
Edit: list of convertible models from the wiki: http://en.airlinesim.aero/wiki/index.php/Aircraft_finder#PASSENGER_OR_CARGO_.28convertible.29
And there are no combi configurations possible. All you can do with convertible aircraft, is to remove all seats and use it as a freighter instead.
There are some planes that are combi’s. 747-300m and 747-400m. As an example
But it would be great if you could convert some other types like the Q400 or CRJ in RL:

or the EMB used by Finnair or Estonian air with additional cargo hold

On some routes a TU or 737/727 is to big, and an ATR has not the range.
I think AS add aircrafts then they start flying in real life and there is enough information about plane performance.
I know. Most of those aircrafts could not be bought directly, you have to refit them by an third supplier, however, it would be nice if this would be able in AS too.
I'm still waiting for the Boeing 737-400F...whch has been flying around for ages.
