Come what may

My preliminary plan is to connect all local cities with AT7, and later connect other closed-by major cities with jet liners.

Great idea. Just remember to have a very well done wave system. It will be crucial.

You can try in Vietnam. Both major airports HAN & SGN are nearly empty. For a start, 737 classics or MD-80 series are best, if available in UM.

Highscore is there, I don't want to be a direct competitor with him.

:) you can come to Vietnam. No problem.

Let me settle down in CCS, then later will be SGN or HAN.....:)

You will not find any slots available in a couple of weeks... :)

Try Venezuela! And think about going for younger planes...

BTW I am not good in ASEAN markets since I failed in PNH in Riem.

Friends

I cannot give up a Turkish market yet. Since applying many changes including diverted and changed in some routes, today from an accounting, we can generate 37% in margin instead of -20% in last week, and become 3rd place in AYT. Also we just employed 5 of 142's to replace our F50 fleet in order to fulfill the fully booked flights.

Likewise, I cannot take my eyes out of it so that I have to surrender my CCS hub until any changes in the future. More than that, it would give me an opportunities to learn how to manage the company in the toughest time.

I enjoying playing it so far.

PS I will use our dismissed F50's to fly other routes to try the markets before employing another 142 there.

Updated

We now managed to lease 4 x Boeing 737-800 to replace 142. And, surely we still survive 3rd week.

Why HGW? The BGW is more efficient than the HGW and you don't need the range of the HGW for domestic routes. I would suggest to take Boeing 737-800BGW instead of Boeing 737-800HGW (winglets).

Why having the 738? The A320s are a lot better. In higher fuel prices the A319, A320 and A321 are all better than their Boeing counterpart. Though the C Series will easily beat the 736, 73G, 318, 319 and the E195.

The leasing cost for 73H is AS$117,832 whereas 320 is AS$294,937. This is the reason why I fly with 73H. In addition, C series won't be around very soon, maybe the 3rd quarter of next year, or next two year.

I have a feeling that AS learned from the A350 debacle and the C-series will be dealt with more promptly. I think that.

What the comparison you stated is like comparing apples and bananas. On one hand you have a new A320 and on the other you have an old 738.

Though that A320 has not yet done all it´s price decrease circle, if you wait a couple of days more the price will be around AS$220,000.

In my experience higher lease cost for new aircraft is offset by much lower maintenance cost, if you select the right maintenance provider.

Updated

My airline can manage to sail through the 4th week smoothly.

So far so good, we keep employing 73H’s which now we have 8 of them and going to lease one more.

By the way, I would say "welcome" to a new airliner in AYT which I also signed interlining with him. This is good to see new players in your town. It had better have competitors than none, thus this makes the game more fun.
