Connections from Airport "Transfer Impossible"?

I saw in the ORS that there are flight connections available at an airport that does not allow transfers. Granted, the flight numbers make me think it’s a “via” stop between two airports, but that seems hinky to me. If the “via” flights all land at the same time, say 5PM, can the geese still transfer to another “via” flight that lands at the same time, or do they have to stay on the flight they booked?

Also, it may be a way to get around the aircraft size requirements, since the “via” airport is a “2” and the flights connect between two “10” airports.

Just a strange thing to see.

They stay on the same aircraft. so basically if you have the plane running from A-B-C, even if B is ‘transfer impossible’, they can stay on and go to C. It’s like the old city hopper flights in which one plane does multiple stopovers.

Yes, but direct flights are always preferred, so that flight can’t really compete with direct flights.
