DC-8-62 - too cheap to be legal?

This has better range than the Boeing 739ER HGW and approximately the same capacity, but is 1/6th the cost ($11 million v. $67 million).  Sure, the image rating is lousy, but if you can do SEA-ICN and get over 10x your leasing fee back in economy, you can add a lot of fancy seats / service to make up for that.

So, is there going to be a data patch, or should I reset my airline to use these?

(the 727-200 also seems unusually cheap for its size, though it has much more limited range)

Did you even check the fuel burn between both of them. Also once the server matures the DC will have a harder time to fill it seats up. It won't matter if its cheap, since you will get rid of them sooner or later anyway.

If I were you I will reset and use DC-8 instead.
