I noticed the other day that the departure boards seems a bit different & I had a quick look through the recent changelogs on the forums & couldn’t find any reference points. So the departure boards now lists any of the London airports as just “London” instead of referring to London Heathrow or London City or whichever airport it may be.
It just looks a bit weird so I thought Id mention it to see if it is a change by design or not? Idk if there are any other examples. I can’t speak internationally, its been yrs since I last travelled far but from a UK perspective the departure boards would typically use the full airport name irl
I’m all for having it however everyone prefers, my previous work was at an airport so I know I am probably not the best judge for this one I used to work with these things all the time so muscle memory lol
Huh that is interesting, it does make it look a bit inconsistent. I do think it is important when displaying information whether its using one method or another, that consistency is key.
You would think that but its actually not all that bad. If I’ve done the maths correctly then I pay out just under 5% on maintenance. To be fair ur also not wrong I certainly could make it cheaper if I simplified the fleet
You pay more 15% more for maintenance for every a/c type above 3, so based on those departures alone, you seem to have at least 5 different types, so 30% higher costs on ALL maintenance for your fleet. Consolidation of your fleet would improve your margins for sure! Best practice is to create a subsidiary if you need more than 3 types, as each Enterprise has its own cap.
