Economy vs Eco Plus seats

My airline uses Economy seats while the competitor uses Eco Plus seats, we both have the rating of 5 green bars for everything on the ORS, would passengers still prefer to choose Eco Plus seats? I can’t figure out why with 3 flights between A and B, barely anyone is booking my plane while the other is full even though we both have the same ratings. (I’m 2nd on the ORS). Do I need to increase my service to attract more passengers?

Well, I’ll be in a deadlock there, you could increase catering or changing seats to ecoplus, but that would be either increasing expenses or decreasing revenue and capacity, but that means lower profit both ways. I honestly can’t think of a good solution … Sorry.

One thing I could say is pretend in this world passengers when they travel they are just given a big, long sheet which we see as the ORS so they would take the first on the list.

Sorry again I couldn’t help but I hope something came out of it.

Price and Service don’t tell you the whole story…

What about connecting flights? Maybe the aircrafts of your competitor are fully loaded because of a larger hub network on his side or better connection times?

Or interlining agreements flooding his planes?

I think the main factor here is price. You can’t match Eco Plus pricing with Economy pricing.

Interlining do make huge difference.
