After:
Yes, unfortunately, this could happen, as there were a couple of bugs in how the demand was allocated beforehand.
Do you see this across the board or does it affect some destinations more than others?
I realize that my only flights that are still performing somewhat similarly to before are the MX>US>MX and MX>ES>ES flights, while the MX>MX flights are operating at 20-30%, whereas previously they were between 95-100%.
Should we report missing airports via support? E.g. BNE airport is missing as it only opened in 1988 however the former airport with BNE Eagle Farm is not in the game
Mist. Im letzten Change-Log steht extra:
Aber dem ist nicht so
There are airports that have lost all passenger demand: Zagreb, Athens and many others. I had full flights there, now itâs 0 bars on passengers and cargo and is hurting my airline badlyâŚ
I can see the âzero barsâ, too.
Interesting: I still get full flights TO ATH, but have almost zero FROM ATH (mostly connecting flights, but not exclusively).
Yikes, thatâs clearly a bug. Iâll check it asap. Thanks for the heads-up!
I need to work on something else first, but did a quick check to see whether there was some obvious cause. But it looks really weird. First, Zagreb shows demand on the airport page, so not sure what you are referring to. But ATH does indeed show zero barsâŚso I checked the detailed demand data and it looks to me like the bars on the airport page simply do not reflect the actual data. Locations connected to ATH generate 50k+ in daily demand to 14k+ locations. So either this is a UI bug, or demand distribution suffers from the same bug as the UI (as in: demand exists, but for some reason isnât âfoundâ).
As said, Iâll check this in more detail asap.
Just a quick update: I witnesses âliveâ how ATH was distributed yesterday and it looked fine. So my working theory at the moment:
- The bars on the airport page suffer from a display bug I have to fix.
- It is very likely that general demand dropped in some areas with the recent update, as the computation of point-2-point traffics changed in a few regards.
- Given that Wright plays in the 80s and uses historic, country-specific population figures as the baseline for demand, some countries might just have less demand than others.
That said, tuning LBD is an on-going project that will likely take a while to finish.
