Finance, leases and penalties and network planning

Just working out if the financial system in the game worlds can be sped up or adjusted in any way...

I feel as if minor errors penalise enterprises and even bring down whole operations...

example:

I took at a lease a day earlier than intended  - miscalculation on my part - returning the lease almost instantly, the finances of that lease (2.3m, deposit on a CS300) is held up for a week.

Lease renewals on my to other aircraft, being about 72,000 short meant a 788 - central to my operation - was returned to lessor.

As a suggestion: in such an event, can an enterprise have an option to choose say, which planes' lease gets cancelled? In my case a CS3 and 788 being renewed at the same time, the 788's lease was cancelled; I would have preferred the CS3's to be cancelled if I had to choose losing one.

or;

When a new lease contract is entered into, is it possible to have a grace period - say delay delivery by 24hrs - giving the an enterprise that time to continue with or cancel the contract. It feels as if one click of a mouse can bring down a whole operation or set it back weeks...

or;

open access to finance, say short term - for an enterprise that has healthy profit margins (AAA financial ratings) it doesn't seem realistic to not be able to secure finance against say, the next 3 days bookings? Even if that had a high interest rate.

In my case the profit on the loads already booked on my 788 for the next 3 days exceed the <100,000 that would have kept that lease active.

In short, 2m to be returned the in six days, 80,000 short on a lease renewal and I lose a plane.

Also in terms of the wiki - I now know if you trawl through the forums you can find most of the intricate details of game rules etc - how ever, if the wiki's or manuals aren't as detailed or up to date as the game is, a lot of learning is down through mistakes which does ruin a little of the playability - even a 3 x 12hr recourse (undoing something done) would help....

Let's discuss!

I’m not quite sure what you try to say. So you want a system where you can go from garbage in to gold out?

If you select a shitty move (mouse click) how can you expect a favorite outcome?

(As most of the times, this is my personal opinion)

In response...

More a case of if its a struggle to find the rules, the should be a recourse system in a case where the penalties are so severe

You will make these kind of mistakes only once. That is part of the learning curve in the game.

And just remember: it was your own mistake... the system itself works and you should keep an eye on your finances from now on before you lease out a new plane.
