I am not sure if this is the right place, but I hope so. When I am in the flight scheduling page and I try to modify an existing flight, I can’t see the three icons (see the screen shot) on the iPad. Funny enough, I can get this on my Blackberry phone, but not on the iPad.
Is there a way that you can implement that also for the iPad? Would be really nice.
I guess it would be possible for instance by using jQuery Mobile since most of the forms are done with jQuery anyway, but I guess the team is probably busy with other stuff right now. It would be nice if the team could provide kind of a REST Api so that the community could develop their own tools to check or shedule flights, and the team could rather concentrate on the "mechanics" of the game. Of course the usage of an API would mean an increase in server requests but it also means it would have to generate less data since it only needs to output the specific information of the database rather than a fully generated website. Also simulogics could charge extra for the use of the API by using the exsisting authentication sheme. So the players themselves could decide whether they like to stick with existing site or use their own tools.
Curious if anyone has found a solution to this. I can do pretty much everything in the game on my iPad or smartphone but can’t make changes to flight schedules since I can’t get the hover menu to appear.
What you can do is click on "Existing flight number" and select the flight you want to edit. That´s how I do it on the iPad. Works alright, but not as convenient as on a "real" computer of course.
