Flight status.....

I have a question concerning the scheduled flights.

Skylion Europe bought an aircraft somewhere in Far East…delivering status 2-3 days ( Q300B ).

As I wanted to have the aircraft to arrive as soon as, due to its slow speed, I initiated the delivery flight but forgot the seating.

This I did minutes later, no problem, not that realistic, but enroute it was somehow configured with the seats…LOL.

Now the aircraft arrived home and makes the first flights, by now about 30-40, but…without any seats offered, so I have per flight a penalty to pay.

The system must have offered the flights without any seats, although it was configured enroute.

The seats show up tomorrow in the schedules and will be sold as normal with full passengers.

The question is why does the aircraft fly without seats till tomorrow the normal schedule…giving me a penalty because it flies without any

passengers !?!?!!

Thanks for any hints,

The flights are offered for booking up to 72 hours in advance. So if you haven’t assigned a seating configuration but approved your flights, the flights will be loaded into the reservation system with no seats. If you add/change a seating configuration, the new seats will be implemented at the moment the last flight with the old configuration is done. So all new offered flights will be with the new configuration. It is not very easy to understand but otherwise you could offer your passenger first class seats and when thy booked the flight you change to a small chair ;) Same with service.

Well okay, got it.

but still I feel as a cargo plane and was wondering how many travel agencies or airliners will_would be able to offer or do these things…

So next time I know better
